Arnica, scientific name Arnica montana is a perennial plant, 15-60 cm tall, with beautiful flowers, the petals of which are yellow with an orange crown, native to Europe - from the Iberian Peninsula to the southern part of Scandinavia - and of Siberia and the Carpathians, which grows at an altitude of 1000m and has a strong and pleasant aroma. Its name comes from the ancient Greek word "arnakis", which means lamb skin, due to the texture of the sepals covered by soft hairs that surround the flower.
